The brief was simple: create a garment inspired by Romeo and Juliet and everything the story represents. Rather than recreating the characters literally, I focused on Juliet — on her youth, her romanticism, and the feeling of wanting a life beyond the one already written for her.

The dress became my interpretation of that tension: delicate but grounded, romantic without feeling overly sweet.

For the imagery, I created an old-world setting using stone, fountains and natural textures, drawing from the atmosphere of European romanticism and the timeless quality of the story itself.

The result is less a costume and more a portrait of Juliet as I imagined her: young, curious, romantic, and quietly reaching for a life of her own.
